On the morning of January 20, 2025, the first Polymer & Energy Chemistry Cup Basketball Championship was jointly held at the Qianhu Campus of Nanchang University by the Institute of Polymer and Energy Chemistry, the Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Thin-Film Energy Chemistry, and the Key Laboratory of Fluorine-Silicon Energy Materials and Chemistry of the Ministry of Education.
The competition adopted a 5v5 format. On the basketball court, players from both teams engaged in intense confrontations with tacit teamwork, presenting a splendid and exciting tournament. Every shot carried the hopes of the entire team, and every throw reflected indomitable perseverance. Teachers and students showed immense passion on the court, interpreting the spirit of teamwork and the charm of competitive sports with sweat and dedication. Ultimately, the faculty team led by Professor Yiwang Chen claimed the championship.
The successful holding of the basketball championship has not only strengthened team cohesion and centripetal force, but also improved students’ collaborative abilities and facilitated friendly exchanges among teachers and students. The spirit of sports never fades, and the passion for sports never ceases!
