Teaching Profile

Lectures on undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Organic Chemistry, University Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Experiment, University Chemistry Experiment, Progress in Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology, and Frontier Progress in Applied Chemistry.

Research Profile

The research group focuses on the design, synthesis of organic optoelectronic materials and their applications in optoelectronic devices. It also conducts collaborative research with multiple enterprises on the green synthesis and industrial application of fine chemicals. The main research contents include:

  1. Developing small-molecule and polymer semiconductors for      organic solar cells, field-effect transistors and electroluminescent      diodes, and preparing new-generation flexible, low-cost solar cells,      transistors and light-emitting diodes with fully independent intellectual      property rights.

  2. Developing environmentally friendly and safe technologies for      low-cost production of organic chemicals.

Graduate students in the group can systematically learn the design principles, synthesis technologies and characterization methods of organic functional materials, as well as the preparation and testing technologies of optoelectronic devices, and master the skills of writing papers and patents. The group maintains close contact and cooperation with many domestic scientific research institutes and enterprises, and recommends outstanding students for employment, exchange and further study.

The group recruits master and doctoral students majoring in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering. The laboratory is located at B739, Science and Life Building. Interested students are welcome to visit and apply for postgraduate studies.

Research Projects (Principal Investigator)

Since its establishment in October 2014, the research group has been supported by a number of projects, including the High-level Talent Start-up Fund of Nanchang University, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Project of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Academic and Discipline Leader Project of Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Provincial Distinguished Young Scientists Fund Project, and enterprise cooperation projects. The group encourages and helps students to apply for university-level, provincial-level scientific research projects and enterprise research projects for postgraduates, and rewards participating students.
