Nanchang University Institute of Polymers (NUIP) , was found in 2004. Over the span of 6 years, NUIP has formed a stable team. It has been approved of “Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of New Energy Chemistry” in 2011.

NUIP is a multidisciplinary institute engaging in both fundamental and applied researches of chemistry and material engineering. It has developed its own features in organic conjugated polymer solar cell, cycloolefin coordination polymerization, biological application of degradable nanofiber membranes, as well as in all-solid-state polymer electrolyte systems. A large number of achievements have been obtained, which have made contribution in academic research.

Research interests include solution process and printing of polymer solar cells, solution process and printing of perovskite solar cells, wet printing of graphene transparent electrodes, membrane gel polyelectrolytes for electrochemical batteries and graphene foam supercapacitor.
